About the classes...
Gentle yoga: this is a flow class perfect for beginners or those seeking a less intensive class. We flow through the poses, work on flexibility, and learn to relax our body.
Hatha flow: this class is a bit more intense. We flow poses moving with our breath, warming up our bodied to enable us to explore deeper stretching. All levels will enjoy this class.
Warm Flow: Hatha flow with a little heat. 85 to 90 degrees.
Warm Yin/Restorative: This class takes the stretches deep. We relax into deep stretching and follow up with a few restorative poses.
Acro Yoga: This class is all about partner yoga, tricks, inversions, and FUN!
Hot yoga: classroom temperature is between 95 and 105 degrees. We work our bodies creating internal heat as well. The internal heat and external heat combined give us the extra flexibility to achieve the deeper more challenging poses. This class is also great for weight loss. The heat will increase your heart rate. You will sweat....a lot :) this class is not recommended for pregnant women or anyone suffering from high blood pressure.
Inversions: this class is for anyone wanting to spend some time upside down. We learn inversions, practice inversions, and explore new poses.
Yoga/Pilates: this class is all about core, upper body and abs. this 45 minute class is an intense workout with lots of laughs.
Foundations:This class is appropriate for all levels of practice. For
the beginner seeking a strong foundation in the fundamental asana (poses,) this
class gives the student a chance to feel the pose from the ground up,
understand the correct alignment and become confident in flowing movement with breath. Modifications will be
given for beginners building up strength. For the experienced yogi seeking to get
back to the basics, this class gives the opportunity to hold poses slightly longer
than in other flow and hot classes, building endurance and connecting to the breath.

About Therapeutic Massage...
Swedish Massage is the most commonly offered massage technique. This modality uses long strokes and kneading of the muscles. It is used primarily for full body sessions to promote circulation, relaxation, and relieving muscle tension.
Deep Tissue Massage improves body alignment and freedom of movement. Deep Tissue releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through long and short, slow strokes. Deeper pressure is applied on the specific tensed area by using the forearms, heel of hands, elbows, or specific instruments. The amount and type of pressure depends on the specific needs of the individual.
Hot Stone Massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. The heat helps release tight muscles.
